Add to Calendar 2017-09-01 6:00 pm 2017-09-01 Classical & Jazz Blow Out Featuring Arkansas Brass and Anything That Moves (Hot Springs JazzFest) at Five Star Theatre The second of six events during the 2017 Hot Springs JazzFest (Thursday, 31 August - Monday, 4 September) features the Arkansas Brass quintet (distinguished principal players from the South Arkansas Symphony) and mezzo-soprano Diane Kesling followed by the jazz combo Anything That Moves (led by pianist Clyde Pound and including Les Pack on guitar, David Higginbotham on upright bass, Paul Stivitts on drums) with special guest Allen Won on flute and sax. Jazz vocalist Shirley Chauvin (current president of the Hot Springs Jazz Society) will emcee. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. and followed by the concert at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased for dinner and the show ($50 each, discounted to $45 for HSJS members) or the show only ($35 each, discounted to $30 for HSJS members).
